COMPARISON: EQUALITY

To form the comparisons of equality using adjectives or adverbs, use the following formula:
Noun + verb to be + as + adjective/adverb + as + noun
The book is as good as the movie.
The flower is as beautiful as my mom.
I compare people, objects and places.

TIME EXPRESSIONS USED IN THE PAST TENSE

Yesterday

Today is December 25. Yesterday was December24.

Period of time (ago)

I went my uncle two days ago.

Rodrigo arrived one hour ago.

They visited Monterrey two years ago.

 



SUPERLATIVE ADJECTIVES

We use the superlative adjective to indicate that one of a group is outstanding in a particular way.

 



SIMPLE PAST TENSE

When use the simple past?

Is used to talk about actiond wich happened and were completed at a specific moment in the past.

 



SIMPLE FUTURE TENSE

The Simple Future tense has two differen forms in English

“will”  “going to”

Both refer to a specific time in the future.
